During the Republic Galactic Republic Organization Galaxy-Wide Organizations 's initiative to resettle Taris Resettlement Initiative Event Cold War (3653BBY - 3642BBY) Taris Taris Planet , Kandik and his squadron were assigned to the planet to perform a mission Raid on Taris Reclamation Base Event Cold War (3653BBY - 3642BBY) to destroy a captured Taris Reclamation base in order to protect the confidential data of military tactics. However, the Death's Claw Death's Claw Organization Planetary and Sector pirates Pirate Organization Communities attacked Rana Squadron and destroyed the fighters, and Kandik was shot down. The lone survivor of this mission, Kandik was stranded on the shores of Lake Brell.
